in 1986. The Golden Bear went on to become the
oldest winner of the tournament. Jack, with his 6
victories, is also knows as "The Master of the
Masters." Jack Nicklaus, hailed as the greatest
golfer to ever play the game, made his final career
appearance on July, 15 2005 at The Old Course in St.
Andrews, Scotland. It was there in 1978 that Jack
Nicklaus won his third and final Open Championship
and bidded farewell to championship golf.
