States President's Cup Team, in 1994, a team on
which he played. Hale Irwin was a member of 5 Ryder
Cup Teams and 2 World Cup Teams. From early 1975
through 1978 he played an astounding 86 tournaments
without missing a cut, a feat surpassed only by Jack
Nicklaus and Byron Nelson. Hale Irwin was inducted
to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1992.
