The Lard "Whistler" is another cornerstone to any fine American or Patent Club collection. This unusual iron has the patented Spalding Gold Medal perforated hexagonal steel shaft and leather grip wrap. Patented August 29, 1916, and manufactured by Spalding, Chicopee, Mass. The stamp on the back shows a little wear, otherwise the condition is very good and is a fine example.
